Mindfulness/Yoga in the Classroom (PreK-5)

Mindfulness in the classroom is another tool to help the social-emotional well-being of your students -- and yourself!  Learn how simple mindfulness and yoga practices can create calm in your anxious students.  Breathing and gentle movement activities will be taught as well as a brief discussion of the effects of mindfulness on the brain.  A list of websites and other resources (such as books and existing mindfulness programs in schools) will also be provided.
