Effective Co-teaching Strategies for Middle School

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We are going to explore and explain 6 of the Co-Teaching Structures that you can utilize in an inclusive classroom: One Teach-One Observe, Station Teaching, Parallel Teaching, Alternative Teaching, Teaming, One Teach-One Assist. We will give examples and model each type of method, while providing a packet you can use right away in your classroom. In addition, we will show how teachers can make use of technology in order to plan effectively and with ease in order to make the experiences more beneficial to the students. We have over ten years teaching together in an inclusive environment, so we just want to share what has worked for us and what we have had to improve upon during our time together.
