Spring Senses: Student Poetry eBook

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This presentation will demonstrate a teacher-designed, cross-currlicular unit taught in Kindergarten that incorporates the subjects of ELA (reading, writing, publishing, presenting), Science (five senses in the season of Spring), Technology (Drawing Pad, Book Creator, Google Docs), and Library (read aloud and class poetry book / ebook). Through a series of 4-5 class lessons, students will learn about what their senses experience in the spring, writing poetry sentences about each sense, illustrate one sentence, and present their sentence with illustration in the form of an embook to their class.

Appropriate for early childhood / early elementary educators
